INTEGRAL LIQUID WATER PROOFING COMPOUND FOR CONCRETE & PLASTER

Dalsun Extrashield DWP 44 is specially formulated integral liquid waterproofing compound .This compound is made of Plasticizers, polymers & additives It is used as an additive for cement concrete, mortar & plasters Areas of Application

It can be used as Waterproofing compound of concrete and sand- cement mortars .It is suitable for Roof slabs ,Water tanks & water retaining structures, External plastering, Bathrooms and balconies, Sumps and drains.

Properties

• Compatibility : Being a liquid, easily dispersible & compatible with concrete/mortar mixes.
• Corrosion resistant : Makes concrete more cohesive , hence protects steel better against corrosion .
• Workability : Improves workability of freshly mixed cement concrete.
• Permeability : It reduces the permeability of water into concrete.
• Strength : The setting time and compressive strength of the concrete remains with in the specification limits.
• Shrinkage : Reduces shrinkage crack development in plaster & concrete .
• Durability : Increases durability by improving waterproofing of concrete.

Application

• Add cement & aggregates to concrete mixer as per requirement ,wait for 2-3 minutes.
• Slowly & slowly add water,maximum upto 75-80% by volume.Mix thoroughly for 2-3 minutes.
• Dalsuns Extrashield DWP 44 is added as per the recommended dosage .
• Recommended dosage is 200ml per 50 kg cement bag
• Add to concrete mixer & mix for another 2-3 minutes
• Applied mortar or concrete need to be cured

Surface prepration & Application:

• Ensure no loose particles are on the surface likepaint dust or grease.
• Already present fungus or algae or similar growth may be removed using wire brush and/or water.Allow it to dry for 4-6 hours
• For freshly plastered surface use Dalprime after properly thinning.
• Thinner recommended is water is thinning should be 60-70% by volume.
• It can be applied with Brush or spray.
• Allow 4-6 hours before applying final coat.
